Orloff, Chana
(1888-1968)
   French sculptor, of Ukrainian origin. Born in the Ukraine, her family emigrated to Palestine in 1905. She later settled in Paris. She studied at the Ecole Nationale des Arts Decoratifs and the Academie Russe, and became a member of a group of artists known as Ecole de Paris. In 1942 she fled to Switzerland and returned to Paris in 1945. In addition to drawings and sculpture, she produced public monuments in Ramat Gan and Ein Gev in Israel.
